Diplômée de l’école des beaux-arts, Marianne Daquet développe depuis quelques années un travail de dessin. Après avoir exposé en qualité d’artiste dans des musées et galeries françaises, elle oriente son travail de création vers l’illustration pour la publicité et l’édition, elle a d’ailleurs publié ses dessins dans différents magazines français, allemands, travaillé en collaboration avec des artistes sur la création de décors ou d’affiches et travaillé pour des campagnes de publicité. Son style simple, ludique et coloré attire l’œil, elle est de plus capable de beaucoup d’humour et de sensibilité à travers son dessin.
Marianne Daquet, a graduate from the French Beaux-Arts School, has been developing a broad range of artwork for a number of years. She initially exhibited her work in French museums and galleries before shifting focus to the world of industry, perfecting illustrations that could be used in advertising, press and other sectors. Her work has been published in French and German newspapers, while the posters and other material she created contributed to advertising campaigns. Marianne also collaborated with other artists and musicians in set design.Her lucid, simple and colourful style are eye catching , but what really defines Marianne’s artwork is her ability to express both her humour and sensitivity on canvas so that others can share the joy she so obviously takes in her work.
